Over the years, Professor Vlachos has taught undergraduate courses (introduction to chemical engineering, chemical kinetics and reactors, mass transfer based separations) and graduate courses (advanced chemical kinetics and reactors, advanced mass and heat transfer, advanced mathematics, computational mathematics, stochastic modeling). He has also given short courses and lectures on nanotechnology, multiscale simulation, microkinetic modeling, and stochastic modeling. Typical audience has included undergraduate and graduate students of the Univ. of Delaware and the Univ. of Patras and the AIChE Topical Conference on Multiscale Simulation (2005). Several undergraduate students have researched in our group, many of whom went to graduate school upon graduation to obtain their Ph.D.
